On the Sunshine Coast, we recently worked on a blue Mini that needed its bonnet stripes replaced due to sun damage. The original stripes had faded and deteriorated under the intense Queensland sun, which is a common issue for vinyl stripes in this region.

To restore the Mini’s appearance, we opted for a striking combination of dark galaxy blue metallic vinyl stripes with a matte white outline. This choice not only refreshed the car’s look but also added a unique, stylish touch.

Our mobile unit was dispatched to the Sunshine Coast to handle the job. The process began with the careful removal of the old, damaged stripes. Using heat and gentle scraping, we ensured the paint underneath remained intact. Once the surface was prepped, we installed the new stripes, ensuring precise alignment and a smooth finish.

The entire process took about 2 hours, and the result was a beautifully restored Mini with fresh, vibrant bonnet stripes. This project highlights the importance of using high-quality vinyl and the expertise required to achieve a professional finish.
